A Kreative Kranium HANDMADE original. “Gus 3.0” is a 100% rabbit, hand-shaped, pliable, with an original crown design. A friend asked me to make him a “Gus” because he appreciated my techniques to create a grubby-looking hat. “Gus” is heavily distressed and is purposefully treated to look like it has belonged to a ranch hand for several years. The hatband consists of distressed muslin and leather strings which circle the crown. Tucked into the crown are two gorgeous turkey feathers and a “Whisky Creek” cab from Idaho cross-stitched to keep it in place. The appearance of being tattered, sweaty, and dirty is all part of this sickkkk design.
