Gus OG – 100% Rabbit – Handmade

A Kreative Kranium HANDMADE original. “Gus” is a 100% rabbit, hand-shaped, pliable, with an original crown design. I fell in love with “Gus” because of the techniques I experimented with to create a grubby looking hat. “Gus” has heavy distressing and is purposefully treated to look like it has belonged to a ranch hand for several years. The hatband consists of distressed muslin and strings of leather which circle the crown. Tucked into the crown are two gorgeous turkey feathers and a Succor Creek Stone from Idaho to keep it in place. The appearance of being tattered, sweaty, and dirty are all part of this sickkkkkkkk design. It was love at first sight and I had to adopt the “Gus OG.” It is wearable with anything. The back of the brim is so soft it never hits the back of the car seat or any other hard surface. The brim keeps its wonky curl if you just continue to carry it by the brim. I get so many compliments on “Gus.” People can hardly believe it all started with an off-white rabbit form.
